Professor Stergios-Aristoteles Mitoulis completed an inspiring research visit across Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing, engaging with leading universities on infrastructure resilience, sustainability, artificial intelligence and future cities.
During the visit, he held discussions with academics at HKUST, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Tongji University and Tsinghua University, exploring new opportunities for research collaboration in sustainable and resilient infrastructure.
A major outcome is the ongoing work towards establishing a joint Centre for Future Cities between UCL and Tsinghua University. Sincere thanks to all colleagues who supported the meetings, discussions and organisation of the visit.
